Why we do it!
Our Mission:
The 948 Charity Support Association raises awareness and profits for local charities through social events.
Currently, our primary event that we support is the Airdrie Dad’s Charity Golf Tournament. Since it’s inception the AD Tournament has proudly supported The Airdrie Food Bank, The Nathan O’Brien Foundation, and Boys & Girls Club of Airdrie.

Jeremy Winterton, President
Jeremy has been proud to call Airdrie home for over 17 years. In that time, he’s become a passionate advocate for giving back to the community that’s given him so much. As a co-founder of the 948 Charity Support Association, a board member of a few different organized initiatives, as well as a driving force behind the Airdrie Dads Annual Golf Tournament since 2021, he continues to help raise significant awareness and funding for local organizations that support Airdrie families.
Whether rallying volunteers, organizing events, or quietly supporting those in need, Jeremy leads with empathy and a strong sense of community. He believes that if you’re fortunate in life, it’s not about building a taller fence — it’s about building a longer table. His work reflects that belief: creating space, connection, and opportunity for others through grassroots leadership.
Ryan Cook, Vice-President
Ryan has an ear and eye for all that is Airdrie. A skillset that can handle a lot of tasks and a love of the game of golf. Aside from working on our amazing crew and spearheading many new ideas for our charities, you will find Ryan in our community helping out… or at the card shop.
Charlie Beaulieu, Sponsorship Director
Charlie and Quest Braces have been a champion sponsor for each past tournament. It only feels right to have him involved as our Sponsorship Director. Charlie’s reach in our community is vast and we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without him and Quest.
Wayne Lodge, Social Media Manager

Geoff Whatley, Marketing Director
Community focused, and a lover of the game of golf is what we needed for this role. Geoff runs GW Designs in Airdrie and jumped at the chance to be involved with the Committee. Mostly, you will find him in the local online community promoting clients, but is a sucker for wing night!
Tanner Desrosiers, Treasurer
All the paperwork, all the legal, all the minutes and all the stuff that no one else knows how to do gets handed to Tanner. Knowing the ins and outs of non-profit status, charity and getting all our legal ducks in order was and is needed. Tanner is the man in the background, keeping us honest!
